So I’m sitting here at George Airport thinking to myself what an incredible personal journey I’ve had thus far. It’s my first time in George and I owe it to BMW South Africa for inviting me to the launch of the fourth generation X5.

The luxury SUV market has been exploding over the last few years, with car makers such as; Lamborghini, Maserati, Rolls Royce, and Bentley coming out with their own luxury versions.

The Cradle of Humankind is only about 40mins outside Sandton and it hides away one great weekend away hotel. The Cradle Boutique Hotel is placed right in heart of the Cradle of Humankind. The location is really great for when you want to quickly escape the city clutter and get into a Kruger Park type headspace at the fraction of the travel time.

Recently I had the privilege of joining the BMW team at the launch of the new generation X3. I was thrilled to be part of this exciting journey as a photographer under the wings of Marvin. The launch was nothing short of amazing as the launch tour took us to some scenic parts of South Africa.
